One of the anticipated and actual challenges of paddling Kinbasket Reservoir was finding a reasonable spot to camp each night. The shoreline is steep, eroding, and inhospitable in most places. It’s not even possible to get out of the kayak in many areas, let alone set up a tent. I would pick a creek on the map and paddle towards it hoping it had some silty deposits at the mouth for me to sleep on. This one did, many others didn’t.
